I am still making my way through all the photos I took last weekend, but this one of Melanie and Mark really stood out.

Engaged: Jody and Heather | Austin Wedding Photographer

When I met Heather, her best friend Sarah and her mom Libby for the first time, it was as if we had known each other for years. We gabbed for ages like a bunch of old friends. It is just that way with some people and Heather is definitely one of those people for me. I headed to Fredericksburg to meet up with Heather and her fiance Jody for their engagement shoot. Jody is as laid back as they come and a true gentleman to boot. We had a great time hanging out and taking pictures and they were up for any crazy idea I had. It was a lovely morning.Edited to add: Melissa just asked me where the flower sequence was shot. It was done at Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg. Bonnie Berry is an Austin, Texas child, family and wedding photographer.

Shannon and Conor

We just spent a lovely evening at Shannon, Conor and Savannah's house. Poor Savannah had an upset stomach after an unpleasant macademia nut reaction. But she bounced back pretty quickly and a good time was had by all. While I snapped some photos there (which I will share later) I wanted to share some more I took of her parents at Friday's workshop. They are such a handsome couple as well as amazing hosts.
