We adopted Matzah from Austin Dog Rescue. He, his mom and his five litter mates were all looked after from five to eight weeks by the best doggie foster mom ever, Carol Swirczek. All the pups were adopted by great families. They were called the brat pack litter and were all named after the actors in that group (Matzah was Emilio for Emilio Estevez). One thing I love is that we all get together from time to time for the pups to play. These photos are from yesterday when 4 pups and mom came together at the West Austin Dog Park to celebrate their first birthday and some (the first 14) from a couple of weeks ago when Matzah and just one of his sisters and one brother had a puppy play date at our neighborhood park. I also love that Carol comes to our get togethers as well. As soon as all the dogs hear here voice they barrel over to her. The pups' mom, Savannah is in the very last photo, among others.
