I am reading this really great book right now called The Ghost in the House: Motherhood, Raising Children, and Struggling with Depression. So right off you can tell by the title that this book isn't for everyone. But I am getting a good deal of useful information about raising children amongst somewhat crazy parents (that's us) as well info about genetic predisposition, nature v. nurture etc. I also got Inconsolable: How I Threw My Mental Health Out With the Diapers which I read a little bit of but had to put off since I actually bought it and the others are library books that I must return soon. I am looking forward to reading it because its irreverent tone sparked my interest right away. Not to mention all the swear words she uses. Gotta love a woman with a potty mouth. So for those of you who are moms and predisposed to depression read up. For the rest of you, you will need to find other resources for your own brand of crazy. God knows we all have one.
