This week I have been in cooking limbo. Josh has been out of town so there has not been any time to breathe, much less cook. I feel deprived. So instead of cooking dinner or making fig jam from the figs our tree has been giving us, I am going to share these photos of food I have been taking. And the shot of fried egg on pizza was not prepared the way it should have been. When I lived in France pizza always came with a fried egg in the middle and I LOVED it. So the other day I decided to try putting a fried egg on reheated pizza from Saccone's (best pizza in Austin) and it wasn't half bad. And our new ice cream maker made some yummy strawberry ice cream too (pictured below). I have been obsessed with going to farmer's markets, which is great except I keep buying too much food.
