As promised, here is part two. These were taken after the sun had set and it was dark. I love them because they are almost like a dream. The kids had no luck catching any lightning bugs, but we saw a ton, which was fun. Matt did manage to catch a little frog for the kids to examine and then set free. It was such a dejà vu from my summer days in Louisville, Kentucky when I was a kid. I used to head outside with my grandpa and a jar, and we would run around like chickens with our heads cut off, trying to catch the little buggers.
