Four years ago I started photographing my sons' preschool for one week out of the year. I take a fly on the wall approach and just move from classroom to classroom and hang back and watch and play with the kids. It is a ton of work and exhausting, but I truly love it. I love being with the kids and teachers, getting to know their names and who they are. I do the shoot at the end of October, which coincides with the busy holiday season, so every year I tell myself, "Never again". And then my muscles stop being sore from all the squatting and I forget the hours in front of the computer processing and a year passes and I do it again. And it is rewarding and lovely all over again. I chose 195 photos to blog from the week. Here are just a few. I will blog more soon.
