When fellow Austin photographer Dave McLaughlin asked for someone to take a family photograph, I jumped at the chance. I LOVE Dave. He frequents my blog and has been incredibly supportive and generous with his kind words about my work. I finally got to meet him in person a few weeks ago and he is simply splendid. And now I know that his wife Kerri and their daughter Ava are just as lovely. My only regret is that I wasn't able to spend more time hanging out with them and taking pictures after the one more cup of coffee that I desperately needed. But I can simply hope that I will get another chance to capture them again.
