Josh and Erica | Austin Engagement Photographer

I am VERY excited for Josh and Erica's wedding this Sunday. I spoke with Erica over the phone many times when we were first discussing her wedding photography and I just got such a good vibe about her and Josh. So I finally got to meet them a couple of weeks ago and I was happy to realize my instincts are still good from time to time : ) They are such fun people and good sports to boot. After shooting for a bit in East Austin we were going to head to Zilker for some golden hour shots. But when we got there, I realized the kite festival was going on and we could not get to where we were going. So I asked them to follow me in their car. I kept trying to follow the detour to get in to Zilker and I got lost. But I refused to give up. So I drove around like mad, racing against the sun, as I searched wildly for some field or cute spot to shoot. I finally saw that we were near Mercury Hall so we ducked in there. They were having an event, so we found a little space in the parking lot where the light was nice and took some more shots. Josh and Erica were very patient with our mad dash all over Austin. I probably would have thought, "This photographer is CRAZY." Which as we know, is not too far off the mark. Anyway, I fell in love with their photos. LOVE I tell you.
