I am not really sure why, but bedtime is my favorite time of the day to photograph the boys. There is something about their just out of the bath freshness and their tired demeanor that I love. And it is the time of the day when we are all together in a small physical space outside of the dinner table. Sam had just discovered Baxter, who is a bunny given to Ben when he was born by his great aunt. They became instant friends. Josh and Ben have a new routine called "snuggle time" right before Ben goes to bed. They cuddle and talk about Ben's day. And Josh usually does not fall asleep before he has taken Ben to his bed, but he did this night.
