Catherine and I and our two little assistants headed to Hot Mama's Espresso cafe for our kid-friendly restaurant reviews. Catherine will give a detailed review and I will link to it once she has published it, but for now here are the visuals. My two cents is that they have a near perfect outdoor space for kids if they only had the entire outdoor space gated in. Alas, they only have 75% of it enclosed and of course the 25% that is open faces the street. And of course THAT is where the cool fountain is that Sam was compulsively drawn to. There was also one other way out that I would never have found since it is about a six inch gap in the wall, but as you will see in the last image, Sam did. And it goes into a parking lot next door that in order for me to reach would have meant running all the way out to the street and then backtracking into the lot. So maybe not such a great place for wee ones without a leash. Luckily I caught the back of his shirt just in time. Bonnie Berry is an Austin, Texas child, family and wedding photographer.
