Okay when I said last week that I shot Bill and Kristen's engagement photos, I fibbed a bit. They actually got married. When Kristen contacted me about shooting her elopement I was thrilled. I love shooting weddings, but I especially love elopements, probably because Josh and I did the same. On a Thursday afternoon, Bill, Kristen and I headed to the courthouse where they had a brief, but lovely ceremony officiated by the Honorable Yvonne Williams. And then we made a pit stop at—where else?—Sonic for a quick refreshment. Then we went over to Kristen's friends' amazing house for some portraits and finally ended up at their casa with their four pawed children. It was a lovely afternoon and I feel honored to have witnessed so much love. Thanks Bill and Kristen : )
