I was thrilled to photograph the inaugural Trailer Food Tuesdays in Austin. It was held on Tuesday at the Long Center for the Performing Arts and was organized by Eric Silverstein of Yumé Burger and Peached Tortilla; Kristen Stacy of The Seedling Truck, and Trailer Food Diaries Cookbook author Tiffany Harelik (all pictured below). The following trailers were in attendance and serving AMAZINGLY delicious food: The Peached Tortilla, Yumé Burger, The Seedling Truck by Royal Fig, Chi'lantro BBQ, the Evil Wiener, Be More Pacific, Hey Cupcake, Coolhaus Ice Cream Sandwiches, and Dock and Roll Diner. Not only did I get to photograph the yummy food, I got to sample everything I shot. I was in heaven. But the best part was all the warm and generous people I got to meet that evening. It was such a family and dog friendly event as well—you will see my three boys who came along. I HIGHLY recommend you come to the next one (July 31), and the one after that (Aug. 28), and the one after that (Sept. 25) etc. They are being held through November on the last Tuesday of every month from 5:00 until 9:00.
