Conversations with Ben

Ben is home today with a fever. So suffice it to say that no work is getting done. Every time I am out of his sight he calls for me to come back. He is not very talkative since he is sick, but I just had a funny exchange with him after I sneezed. Ben: You're supposed to say, "Excuse Me" when you sneeze.

Me: I did.

Ben: I didn't hear you.

Me: Well I did.

Ben: You are suposed to say it louder so I can hear.

Apparently I have given birth to Miss Manners' heir.

I had the amazing fortune to photograph my very first birth today. What an AMAZING experience it was. I am too tired to go into detail (and I didn't even have a baby : ) but I will later. A huge thanks to Dan and Kristen for trusting me with such an important job and to Sara the best doula ever and her mom Linda who picked Ben up from school and watched him so that I could participate in this miracle. Welcome to the world baby Quinn.
